Why I'm a JPAL

I’m a JPAL because innovation is not only exciting and energizing to me personally, but I believe it’s at the heart of how we make the world a better place for all. As a JPAL I look forward to working with start-up companies who are developing cutting-edge and breakthrough technologies, and to hopefully be a resource for them on their pathway to success.

Bio

My professional experience spans over 27 years across the aerospace and healthcare industries. The first nine years of my career I worked in various technical roles ranging from titanium metal forming to designing commercial aircraft at The Boeing Company. Following completion of my MBA at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, I joined Johnson & Johnson where I have gained significant commercial experience in Medical Devices. I have lived and worked domestically as well as abroad, and in both developed and emerging markets. I have led a sales team, worked with R&D to develop and commercialize new products, and have built the strategic pricing capability/function at Ethicon. Currently I am a Global Marketing Director within Ethicon’s Biosurgery business.

Fun fact:
I will try almost anything once for the experience including eating scorpions at a street vendor in Beijing to jumping off a bridge tethered with a bungee cord in New Zealand.
