Hong is Sr. Director, Search & Evaluation at Boston Innovation Center, supporting oncology external innovation. Before this, she spent five years at Johnson & Johnson Innovation, Asia Pacific Innovation Center. In this role, Hong was responsible for implementing the Asia Pacific Innovation Center’s strategy in Korea. Previously, Hong spent thirteen years as a drug discovery scientist within the Discovery Science organization of Janssen R&D in North America. Hong has extensive knowledge in drug discovery in various therapeutic areas and their associated novel platform technologies. Hong has broad discovery experience in various therapeutic areas, such as oncology, CVM, neuroscience, pain, and immunology. Hong received her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Biochemistry from New York University, her MBA in Entrepreneurship & Innovation, and Leadership & Change Management from Leonard N. Stern School of Business, NYU.
