I am passionate about the integration of science with business, and being a JPAL Mentor helping companies grow their scientific idea into a business is extremely rewarding and challenging.
Dr. Julie Bianchini is a Principal Scientist in Sun Care Product & Process Development at Johnson & Johnson Consumer Health. She is responsible for developing and launching new and innovative mineral sunscreen products that provide superior aesthetics and efficacy. Prior to her role in Sun Care, Julie was responsible for investigating new technology innovations for superior hydration and anti-aging skin benefits. Julie earned her Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology/Biochemistry at Rutgers University, and her Ph.D. in Biology at Stanford University, where she was a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow. Julie has also acquired business and entrepreneurial experiences from attending the Stanford University Graduate School of Business Ignite Program. In 2017, Julie was named as one of Six Young Trailblazing Scientists on The Johnson & Johnson Under 40 to Watch List, and has authored numerous scientific publications, presentations and patents.
