Tamim Diab is a multidisciplinary bioengineer with a background in biomaterials, regenerative medicine, biomechanics, and product development. Acquired expertise through years of formal academic training and working within globally recognized organizations. Currently, Tamim is an R&D Principal Engineer, Mitek Sports Medicine (Johnson & Johnson). He leverages his expertise in biomaterials and regenerative medicine to support the DePuy Synthes franchise (Johnson & Johnson). Prior to joining Mitek Sports Medicine, he was a Senior R&D Manager, Dentsply International, where he led a team of engineers to advance innovation in the orthodontic field. Previously, worked as a Senior R&D Engineer, LifeCell (Allergan), where he developed/assessed new technologies for general and plastic surgery. Prior to joining LifeCell, he was a research faculty at Georgia Institute of Technology. Tamim holds a PhD from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute where he was awarded the Zelda and David G. Gisser Prize for outstanding academic achievement and the promise of a successful career. He has authored 17 peer reviewed journal/book publications.
