Innovation Activation Manager
Brittney is the Innovation Activation Specialist for Johnson & Johnson Innovation, JLABS San Diego. In this role, she supports and builds the JLABS brand in southern California through innovation community engagement, creating programs that foster the local entrepreneur ecosystem and through internal and external communications.
Before JLABS, Brittney was the Community Manager at ROC, an organization providing work space centered around building a community environment for startup companies. Based at their newest location, she built a valuable curriculum of events and programs held onsite, securing numerous strategic partnerships and attracting entrepreneurs around San Diego to the space. From 2012 to 2015, Brittney was the Assistant Director of Business Creation & Development at the non-profit business accelerator, CONNECT. She managed a mentorship based accelerator program assisting early stage technology and life science startups in preparing to raise initial funds.
Brittney plays an active role in the San Diego startup community through volunteering as a Sr. Analyst for the San Diego Tech Coast Angels and on the planning committee for San Diego Startup Week. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of San Diego.
