Innovation Activation Manager
As the Innovation Activation Manager, Cassandra is responsible for the overall strategy and implementation of Boston regional engagement activities, marketing, promotional campaigns and event activations. She will lead JLABS programming and community engagement, creating an overarching communication strategy to raise our profile in the region.
Prior to joining JLABS, Cassandra was part of the Brigham Digital Innovation Hub (iHub), at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, which focuses on matchmaking market solutions with internal hospital challenges, accelerating the development, use and commercialization of Brigham-developed solutions, and overall fostering a culture of digital innovation and collaboration. As the team’s Marketing Specialist, Cassandra led iHub’s content creation and strategy, managed the team’s social media engagement, led the planning and promotion of both internal and external community engagements, as well as managed various internal and external relationships for the team on a larger scale. Leading dozens of community engagement initiatives and activities, ranging from both large-scale events to workshops and lectures, Cassandra was a vital part of the team’s strategy to foster a culture of innovation. Cassandra has also held various operations and marketing related positions at companies such as Propel Marketing (now ThriveHive) and RueLaLa.
Cassandra attended Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing, with a minor in Global Communications.
