Digital Marketing and Communication Specialist
Verna is the Digital Marketing and Communication Specialist at Johnson & Johnson Innovation - JLABS. In this role, she supports and builds the JLABS brand in the EMEA region through innovative community engagement, educational and scientific programs that foster the local entrepreneur ecosystem, and internal and external communications. She also supports successful demand generation campaigns and digital e-marketing awareness and engagement activations for Johnson & Johnson Innovation brands around the world.
Originally from Hong Kong, she built her digital marketing expertise and project management skills through buying, planning and budget monitoring of omnichannel marketing campaigns at OMD, servicing some of its global brands. On top of that, she orchestrated the annual media recommendation spend and the corresponding channel mix to her clients. She later started a new adventure by relocating to the Netherlands, where she continued to hone her competence in online marketing, campaign optimization and lead generation. Prior to joining JLABS, she was responsible for the digital marketing of B2B events in the pharmaceutical and food portfolio at Informa Markets, including a large-scaled project involving the migration of their marketing automation platform and 23 event websites to their new CMS.
Verna holds a graduate degree in Media & Business from Erasmus University Rotterdam and an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Hong Kong Baptist University.
