What is the problem you're trying to solve?

We are trying to solve important problems with drug resistance, undruggable targets, and toxicity of some of the advanced medicines. Our technology platforms have broad applications and we are specially interested in immuno-oncology, neurological disorders and rare disease.

How is what you're doing different than other attempts to solve this problem?

We have been developing two platforms which work synergistically and we can find new drug binding sites of the target and design the small molecules which bind to the site at the same time. Our platforms improve the efficiency of both small molecule discovery and biologics development.

Why are you passionate about what you're working on?

There are many life-threatening diseases that have no cures because of the cost of the research & development. We believe our approach eventually make the drug discovery very efficient and help find cures for people living with life-threatening, difficult conditions.

What achievement are you most proud of?

When we discovered that our two platforms work synergistically and then as result we realized that there are many diseases we can target every efficiently, we got very excited. Once we got the presense at JLABS, we were able to talk to several possible collaborators and investors and we are now confident that we should form a new company based on the technology (instead of being part of a larger company) so we would be free to raise money and work with many different companies.
