What is the problem you're trying to solve?
Glycan biomarkers are important in diseases and drug development and are frequently low abundance markers. Unfortunately, they are difficult to detect with current reagents.
How is what you're doing different than other attempts to solve this problem?
We are developing a novel class of reagents called Lectenz® and tools based on these novel reagents. These technologies will speed up and simplify existing processes.
Why are you passionate about what you're working on?
We are excited about advancing research in underexploited areas that will enable disease diagnosis and treatment.
What achievement are you most proud of?
I am proud of taking the leap into start-up biotech, learning and building everything from the ground up.
