Why did you choose science as a career?
I had always wanted to be a scientist as young girl because I was curious about nature and the harmony of the ecosystem around us. My curiosity and interest in nature coupled with my love for logical thinking and problem solving made me choose a career in Science.
Why are you passionate about what you're working on?
I am passionate about my work because of the positive impact of the products I develop on the oral health of people. My research findings contribute to innovation and impact directly or indirectly on the lives of people. Being able to touch lives of others through my work drives me.
What is one piece of advice you’d give to young women in the life science sector?
I will advice young women in science to trust their capabilities and strife for the best in what they do. They should also seek mentors who will guide, encourage and help them nuture their unique talents.
