Johnson & Johnson Innovation – JLABS @ TMC turns FIVE this month! We couldn’t think of a better way to commemorate our anniversary than with a JLABS @ TMC Scrapbook. As we celebrate half a decade of innovation in the Lone Star State, we captured some of our favorite moments along the way.
First, one of our favorite tools for exploring and tracking achievements is JLABS Navigator. We’re delighted to report where JLABS @ TMC residents and alumni stand today.
JLABS @ TMC by the Numbers

From opening doors for The Center of Device Innovation at Texas Medical Center to Texas voters extending the life of its pioneering state cancer funding agency (CPRIT), the life sciences community proves time and time again that “Nothing Stops Innovation.” The JLABS @ TMC community is truly vibrant – take a look at some of our favorite memories from the past five years.
In 2019, Johnson & Johnson Innovation – JLABS together with the Texas Medical Center and AngelMD announced the Breakthrough Medical Technologies QuickFire Challenge. Open to entrepreneurs, researchers and start-up companies in the local area and around the world working on potentially game-changing medical device innovations with the aim to impact human health, the innovators with the best ideas were granted awards including a one-year residency at JLABS @ TMC.
To our team: thanks for all you do to keep JLABS going.
Last but not least, leadership and alumni of JLABS @ TMC heard we were publishing a Scapbook and shared well wishes!
We can’t wait to create new memories alongside the founders, executives, scientists and experts that inspire, improve patient lives and make the world a better place. To stay in touch with Johnson & Johnson Innovation, sign up for our Newsletter at https://jlabs.jnjinnovation.com/subscribe.
