Anat Fussman is an Associate Director Brazil Regulatory Affairs Strategy at Ethicon, Johnson & Johnson, where she provides strategic leadership and direction for the development and execution of Strategy for Ethicon Portfolio of products in Brazil and other key LATAM Countries.
Anat brings significant experience with a strong background in biologics, devices and combination products, with a career reflecting Global regulatory experience (LATAM and ASPAC) of 24 years, in the Israeli and International Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industries (Eli Lilly and Johnson & Johnson), from Strategic development and evidence generation to interaction with Global Regulatory Agencies, Academic institutions and Investors.
During her career Anat has worked with a Venture Capital fund, identifying and analyzing life-sciences Innovative technologies and business opportunities, with strong planning, execution and decision-making skills, while leading successfully 2 Biotechnology companies from a seed stage up to Phase II Clinical Trials. From 2010 until today (2019), Anat has been holding strategic leadership roles, in Israel and US, with increased responsibilities in Ethicon, Johnson & Johnson Regulatory Affairs, prioritizing, licensing and managing the Globalization portfolio of Ethicon products in LATAM and ASPAC regions and in the past 3 years, acting as a focal point of Ethicon Operating Company for J&J Brazil and LATAM Medical Device business.
Anat holds a B.Sc. in Life Sciences from Tel-Aviv University and Ph.D. in Molecular and Human Genetics from Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York, NY.
