Why I'm a JPAL
Becoming a JPAL is a unique opportunity to meet with innovative start-up companies and to learn more about their cutting-edge technologies in development.
After obtaining my Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (2009) from the Université catholique de Louvain (UCL, Belgium), I finalized my PhD training program (2009-2014) focusing on the validation of metabolic targets for the development of novel antitumor therapies (UCL, Belgium). Following my experience at the Manchester Cancer Research Center (UK) to further enrich my knowledge on cancer metabolism (2014-2016), I had the opportunity to lead some exciting studies on the tumor microenvironment and the metabolism of endothelial cells (2016-2018) at the VIB/KULeuven (Leuven, Belgium). Finally, I started in 2018 as a scientist in Oncology Discovery department (Solid Tumor Target Therapy) where I am leading several innovative projects always keeping our main mission in mind: eradicate cancer.
