"What if we could use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to identify new uses for existing drugs looking at the whole genome instead of single pathways? What if we could validate these compounds both ex vivo and in vivo on an integrated platform? What if we could pivot the use of this disruptive platform to make it applicable in the COVID-19 pandemic? Genome Biologics, a JLABS @ BE company recently selected as one of the first BLUE KNIGHT™ companies, is aiming to do just that.

Join us as we speak with Jonathan Ward and Jaya Krishnan, co-founders of Genome Biologics, about their integrated platform approach to identify and validate new uses for existing therapeutics. Using their AI-based computational platform they look at RNA-sequencing data with the aim to identify drug targets, and subsequently validate these on patient-derived tissue organoids and animal models. Using their novel platform, Genome Biologics has identified a number of potential treatments for COVID-19. Where do they go from here?"
